"Four by Two" is a program of music for string quartet and for various combinations of two instruments, featuring contemporary composer Jess Montgomery's Strum and one of the monumental masterpieces of the rich string quartet repertoire, the Schubert D minor quartet, known as "Death and the Maiden."
